Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd buys JCB Equipment
Chepstow Contract Rentals have begun to receive the first machines of a deal worth over nearly seven hundred and fifty thousand pounds The equipment that includes ten JCB 3CX Backhoe Loaders, several Telescopic Handlers and a number of larger JCB Mini Excavators, has been purchased to primarily refresh some of Chepstow Contract Rentals hire fleet, as well as to satisfy the growing demand from customers for machines to be supplied by Chepstow Contract Rentals. This deal allows Chepstow Contract Rentals to add several late year and low hour machines to the sales fleet. Equipment added include; JCB527/55 and JCB526S Telescopic Loaders, as well as a number of JCB3CX Backhoe loaders. Through their market leading equipment, excellent account management and best in class parts and service back up, JCB have fast becoming a significant supplier to Chepstow Contract Rentals.
Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd acquires SGS Assets
In June, Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd purchased the assets of Site Gear Services, the rental arm of Min Ex the South Wales plant equipment dealer. The acquisition included over 40 Takeuchi Mini Excavators and Hydraulic Breakers as well as a significant number of Site Dumpers, Tandem Rollers, Compressors and other construction related equipment. Chepstow Contract Rentals is currently disposing of some of this equipment through its sales business and proposes to retain part of the acquisition to satisfy the increased demand from new and existing customers in the rental division company headed by Paul Best. Revenues since 2008 have increased more than four-fold and between April and May 2010 over 30% and May through to into July a further 20% strongly indicating that there is a considerable appetite in the area for a customer orientated Plant provider, with the ability to provide a solid and reliable service.
Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd acquires GE assets
Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd buys the assets of GE Equipment Services remaining South Wales branch. The asset purchase deal worth nearly 1,000,000 allows Chepstow Contract Rentals to provide local and regional customers with a dedicated service tailored to their specific requirements. Unfortunately not all the existing GE customers in the area chose to use the services of Chepstow Contract Rentals, however the majority of customers could visualise the benefits of using the ongoing services of the hire company dedicated and reliant on the success of their customers. Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd is very grateful to all those customers who made the decision to support them. The Rental Division of Chepstow Contract Rentals Ltd is headed up by Paul Best, a fifteen year veteran of the hire industry in South Wales and the West. Formally an Area Regional Manager with GE Equipment are prior to GE with Barcom Plc, Paul has a superb record of delivering a solid, consistent service to his customers and in delivering bottom line profits at all of the locations he has worked from.
